What personal information do we collect from people visiting our website or app?
Registration Information:
When registering on our platform, making a donation or performing a transaction, as necessary, you may be asked to enter your name, email address or other details to help you with your experience.
Creation of a Campaign:
When you create a campaign on the platform, we collect the information you choose to provide us in relation to the campaign and we display it through our platform. For example, you can provide a campaign title, choose a category, upload images and describe the campaign goal. You might, in creating a campaign, choose to provide information relating to third parties by organizing a campaign for a family member, friend or other, and in doing so, you disclose the name or circumstances of that family member or friend. By providing information in a campaign, you consent to our collection, storage and use of your data. If you upload personal data related to third parties, you acknowledge and agree that you have the authority of the relevant third parties for us to access and use the relevant data and that you have notified the third parties and informed them of how their information is collected and used by Gifted Meals Inc. to provide the Services. We reserve the right to identify you as the person who has made the referral in any messages that are sent to them.
Our payment processors also collect and maintain information related to donations for your campaign.
Receiving Donated Meals:
When you are the beneficiary (or the recipient of meals donated from a campaign), we collect your contact details (such as name and email address), address, zip code, your phone number (for purposes of multi-factor authentication and to send you important messages) and any other information you choose to provide to allow us to ship your donated meals to you.
Donation Information:
On the platform, when you donate to a campaign, we collect your contact details (such as name and email address), zip code, and any information you choose to provide us (such as a description of why you have donated).
We share your information with organizers and, if not the same, the beneficiaries of the campaign. If you donate to a campaign, we share your name, email address and donation information you’ve provided in connection with your donation with the organizer or beneficiary, who may contact you.
Our payment processors collect your credit card details and other information necessary to process the donation such as your home address.
When do we collect the information that you provide to us?
We collect information you choose to provide to us upon registering or entering information on our platform. For example, when you enter your name or provide a profile picture. This information may be displayed publicly on our website in conjunction with your campaign, your donation to a campaign or a combination thereof.
How do we protect your information?
Your personal information is stored by secured networks and is accessible to a limited number of persons who have access rights to the systems, and are required to keep your information confidential.
We regularly scan for vulnerability and Malware across our platform.
Any sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology
Transactions are handled by a PCI compliant gateway, and are not stored or processed on our servers.
We utilize well established systems and processes to maintain the integrity of the data.
Use of ‘Cookies’
We don’t use cookies for tracking purposes.

Gifted Meals Inc. along with third-party vendors, such as Google, use first-party cookies like the Google Analytics cookies, and third-party cookies like the DoubleClick cookie, and/or other third-party identifiers together to compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions, and other ad service functions as they may relate to our website.
Opting Out:
Users can set their preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Settings page. Also, you can opt out by going to the Network Advertising initiative opt out page or permanently by using the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add on.
Can I request that you remove my information?
You may withdraw your consent or permission for the storing of your information by emailing us at support@giftedmeals.com with a request to delete any portion or all of your data from our platform and we will do so within 5 business days.

The California online Privacy Protection Act or CalOPPA, is the first state law in the nation to require that commercial websites and online services post a privacy policy. At this time Gifted Meals Inc. does not respond to Do Not Track browser settings or signals as what DNT means and how to be in compliance are still being determined. Knowledge of the Fair Information Practice Principles and understanding how they should be implemented is crucial to allow compliance with the variety of privacy laws that are used to protect personal information.
So that we are aligned with the Fair Information Practices, should a breach of data occur we will take the following actions in response:
